Garage Floor Price Estimator

How the range is worked out
The estimate multiplies your square feet by a low and a high price per square foot. Epoxy uses the range This Old House publishes. Polyaspartic and flake use a kit seller's published ranges, so treat those as rough: the seller also sells do-it-yourself kits, and we found no recent independent guide that prices them per square foot. The moisture add-on uses a separate This Old House range. Every rate, with its source and date, is in the table below. This is our arithmetic from those rates, not a quote.
Low end = your area times the low rate per square foot. High end = your area times the high rate. Add-ons add their own rate. Our arithmetic from the rates below.

Not in the range
- Extra surface work: grinding a glossy slab, filling cracks, patching spalls. No guide we read prices these per foot.
- The cause of a wet slab. The add-on covers a moisture system, not a fix for water getting in.
- Association approval, if your documents ask for it.
- Local pricing. Every rate on this page is national.
Test the slab before you trust any price
South Florida slabs sit on damp ground and breathe humid air. The data sheets for epoxy and polyaspartic set limits for slab moisture and for humidity while the coat goes on, so a moisture test and a dry window belong in the scope. A bid that skips them is not comparable with one that includes them. The guide on why coatings peel shows the sources.
Association approval
Read your declaration and architectural rules before you sign anything. The permits and HOA guide lists what the Miami and West Palm Beach city pages say, and who to call.
Put it in the bid
Hold every installer to the same list, whatever the range says:
- the area measured and the system, by product name
- the prep method, and what happens at each crack
- the moisture test and its result
- how long before cars can return
- the warranty and its exclusions
- who handles any permit or association approval
